The murals of San Sperate, home town of Pinuccio Sciola
A tour to discover San Sperate, known as a “Living Museum” because of its many murals, a tradition started by Pinuccio Sciola, a renowned contemporary sculptor native to the village, whose works are exhibited in various cities around the world. Many of his famous Sound Stones are gathered together in the town’s “Sound Garden” and visitors can “play” them and listen to the sound of the vibrations produced by the stone.
